Prospective Westminster Parliamentary Candidate for Edinburgh South West

The seat sits sandwiched between two of the strongest Liberal Democrat areas anywhere in Scotland: Edinburgh West, held by Christine Jardine MP with over half the vote, and Edinburgh North Western, won decisively by Scottish Lib Dem leader Alex Cole-Hamilton in 2026.

Strongholds like these are where campaign strength actually comes from — trained activists, a deep supporter base, and voters who already know what the Lib Dems stand for. None of that has to be built from a standing start in the South West seat. It's a constituency we are fighting with two of our strongest bases in the country right next to it.

• Election Artwork: This should be a political CV or manifesto, limited to a single side of A4 in PDF format. This document will be included in the e-ballot and member mailing.
