Campaign Organiser (Camden Liberal Democrats)
Job Title: Camden Liberal Democrats Campaign Organiser
Responsible to: London Campaigns Manager (Line Manager) with day-to-day tasking undertaken by the Camden Campaign & Elections Officer
Salary: £30,000 (pro rata)
Hours: 2.5 days per week
Tenure: Permanent
Location: Hybrid (Home/ Print Workshop in Kilburn NW6 2JX)

Purpose of the job
Camden Liberal Democrats are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who can deliver campaign activity, and contribute to building campaign capacity in the borough.
This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver campaigning activity, and build the infrastructure and organisation necessary to deliver significant growth in the number of Lib Dem Councillors at the May 2026 Camden Borough elections, and work towards the election of a Lib Dem MP in the constituency of Hampstead & Highgate at the next General Election.
Job Description:
- Take overall responsibility for delivering the agreed campaign plan, as agreed between the Camden Campaigns Team, including the London Campaign Manager
- Take the lead in design, production, print, and coordination of delivery of campaign literature.
- Support ward teams in delivering an ongoing programme of doorstep communication with voters
- Support ward teams in building organisational capacity – including recruiting members, donors, deliverers and poster sites.
- Maintain relevant databases e.g. deliverers, donors, poster sites.
- Support ward teams and the Fundraising Committee in organisation of campaign, social and fundraising events.
- Maintaining and updating social media, website and other digital infrastructure.
- Supporting fundraising and assisting with fundraising campaign activity.
- Attending relevant conferences, training and other meetings as required.
Person Specification:
The following criteria are considered essential:
- Exceptional personal organisation and prioritisation abilities.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, self-motivating and able manage own workload.
- Familiarity with current issues within UK politics and sympathy with the values and principles of the Liberal Democrats.
The following criteria are considered highly desirable:
- Experience of delivering effective Liberal Democrat campaigns.
- Experience of Liberal Democrat software and databases (e.g. Affinity Publisher, Fleet, Lighthouse & Connect).
- Ability to lead, mobilise and manage volunteers.
