Campaigns and Youth Project Assistant (Kendal)

Normal place of work:   WLLD office, Kendal

Type:                                   Temporary, full time (37.5 hours per week)

Duration:                           1 September to 30 June, flexible

Basic salary:                      £16,497 gross per year

Purpose of job

To be responsible for the development of the MP’s work with young people throughout the constituency, developing their political awareness of the importance of the Liberal Democrat Party, and to assist with the provision of practical campaigns support to the MP and local party including media work, literature production and delivery.

Regional Development Officer (West Midlands)

Responsible to:   West Midlands Campaigns Manager
Salary:                   £25,000 p.a (pro rata)
Benefit:                 8% Employer’s Pension Contribution
Tenure:                 Part-time – 16 hours per week (fixed term contract until 31 December, with a view to it being extended)
Location: Home-based, a location commutable around the West Midlands.

To deliver election success in priority areas across the West Midlands, with a clear objective of putting “more gold on the map” – be it Lib Dem MPs, Lib Dem-led Councils, Lib Dem Mayors or Lib Dem PCCs.

Campaign Lead (North Cornwall)

To support and enable North Cornwall Liberal Democrats to fight the 2021 Cornwall
Council elections and beyond. The targets for the Cornwall Unitary election is to
retain and strengthen control of North Cornwall by holding all seats and regain the
one seat not presently held.

Office and Events Organiser

Policy Officer (WALES)

Responsible to:       Welsh Chief Executive

Salary:                       £26-32,000 (pro rata) per annum

Hours:                        60% FTE (22.5 hours per week)

Purpose of job

The Welsh Policy Officer will work with key stakeholders in the Welsh Party to develop a compelling policy offer for the party in the 2021 Senedd elections.

They will liaise with the Welsh Policy Committee, Parliamentary spokespeople, lead Regional and Constituency candidates to identify and develop key areas of policy, with support and guidance from the Party’s Federal Head of Policy.

They will lead on enabling individual Welsh Party members to input to the party’s policy via a programme of online engagement.

Fundraising Officer (WALES)
